Sundial Bridge
This is a beautifully suspension bridge designed by world-renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. The bridge is suspended over the Sacramento River and connects the Nationally designated trail in Redding California to the Turtle Bay Exploration Park.
Turtle Bay Exploration Park
The Turtle Bay Exploration Park is a must visit site when visiting Redding. Turtle Bay Exploration Park features both permanent and traveling exhibitions, walk through historical galleries, underwater fish viewing, scientific exhibitions, Paul Bunyan's Forest Camp, McConnell Arboretum & Gardens.
Lassen Volcanic National Park
The Lassen Volcanic National Park is located less then an hours drive east of Redding. Exlpore the hydrothermal areas, go hiking on over 150 miles of hike trail, or take a camping trip to one of the eight campgrounds within the park.
Shasta Dam
The Shasta Dam is the second largest concrete Dam in the US and is located just a short drive from Redding.
